News - The long awaited marriage equality (a.k.a. same-sex marriage) begins in New Zealand on Monday the 19th August. The country had officially recognised same-sex relationships in one form or another since the late eighties and in the past decade Psych-Recruitment has recruited a number of psychologists to New Zealand, with their same-sex partners and their children. New Zealand welcomes diversity and offers a welcoming home for everyone.
In an attempt to find different ways to celebrate the first same-sex marriages New Zealand’s national airline offered a competition. The winning couple will be married mid-air on a flight from the mountain resort town of Queenstown to Auckland. This link is to a video of the winning entry.
