Psych-Recruitment was established in 2002 to recruit psychologists to New Zealand due to local skill shortages. Our unique approach combines psychologists' knowledge and recruitment expertise, giving us a distinct advantage in understanding the local psychological practice, service delivery, and immigration requirements. We specialise in delivering our services online and focus on providing recruitment solutions for the criminal justice,  healthcare, education and child protection sectors.

The demand for psychologists' skills in certain specialities exceeds the locally available workforce. Kia ora, my name is Doug McCall, and I am the owner and recruiter at Psych-Recruitment. I graduated as a clinical psychologist in 1995 and have gained valuable clinical and managerial experience working for public services dealing with child protection, youth justice, and corrective services. While managing teams of psychologists, I developed a keen interest in service and staff development, building workforces, and developing strategies to manage staffing shortages. 

My passion is to bring psychology's benefits to individuals, groups, and communities. I enjoy supporting the profession's growth by helping public and private organisations source the necessary staffing to deliver services. In addition, I enjoy assisting psychologists in advancing their careers in their chosen specialities.

As part of my job, I handle all initial communication with psychologists. As a New Zealander, I particularly enjoy helping you evaluate whether my country will meet your professional and immigration requirements. Having lived and travelled to different parts of the country, I possess extensive knowledge of various locations to assist you with deciding where to settle.

Kia ora, my name is Roberto Taddeucci, and it's a pleasure to introduce myself. I am an Italian who has had the opportunity to live in New Zealand and immerse myself in the remarkable  'Kiwi' culture. I have also been through the immigration residency process. 

I have been a part of Psych-Recruitment since its establishment in 2002. I have been responsible for developing and managing this website and our social media pages. Additionally, I help out at the immigration expos we attend and assist in recording podcasts related to immigrating to New Zealand.                

The most important part of my role is to help you draft your curriculum vitae and job applications, ensuring the content and presentation will add to your success. Short-listing plays a crucial role in the recruitment process, and my goal is to guarantee that your skills and experiences are well presented. It would be my pleasure to work with you on your job applications.
