Terms of Registration for Jobseekers 

We have attempted to make the registration terms and conditions as straightforward as possible. Should you wish to discuss any aspects please contact us.

1. Introduction

  • The ‘Jobseeker Terms of Registration’ have been developed to provide a clear statement of agreement regarding the way we can work together on a shared goal of recruitment.

  •   From time to time the ‘Jobseeker Terms of Registration’ may change in order to comply with New Zealand’s statutory regulations, to provide a more economic and efficient service or for any other reason. It is requested that candidate’s take responsibility to periodically check www.psych-recruitment.com for any changes and updates.

2.  Fees

  • Psych-Recruitment Ltd does NOT charge the candidate any fee for the recruitment services provided. Services are paid for by New Zealand employers at the time a successful placement has occurred

3. Commitment

  • By virtue of forwarding to Psych-Recruitment Ltd information describing employment requirements and/or curriculum vitae, the candidate deems the ‘Jobseeker Terms of Registration’ as acceptable.

  • Psych-Recruitment Ltd does not demand job seekers to sign any form of general exclusivity arrangement/commitment (e.g., sole agent agreement). It is preferred to provide  information and services in good faith with the belief that jobseekers will choose to continue to Psych-Recruitment Ltd based on the quality of the services provided.

  • A commitment does occur where a job seeker requests Psych-Recruitment Ltd to introduce and/or forward a job enquiry/application to particular employer(s). At this point the candidate accepts to be a Psych-Recruitment Ltd candidate for the period of the related recruitment process with the particular employer(s) or particular position(s) of interest.

4. The Obligations of the candidate

The candidate agrees:

  • To provide information which is in all respects true and is not, in any respect, misleading, deceptive or inaccurate or likely to mislead or deceive.

  • To advise Psych-Recruitment Ltd on accepting an employment offer from an employer introduced by Psych-Recruitment Ltd.

  • To advise Psych-Recruitment Ltd should an employer introduced by Psych-Recruitment Ltd refer the candidate to a third party.

  • To advise Psych-Recruitment Ltd of registration with any other recruitment providers prior to using services which are provided free of charge and in good faith.

  •       To request removal of information from the Psych-Recruitment Ltd database where services are longer required. 

The candidate acknowledges that:

  • While best efforts will be made, Psych-Recruitment Ltd does not guarantee that it will be able to meet the candidates employment requests or needs.

  • Psych-Recruitment Ltd will introduce candidates to an employer only when in Psych-Recruitment Ltd's opinion, the candidates credentials match the employer's job specifications.

  • Psych-Recruitment Ltd has no liability as to the success of any application made by the candidate to employers, professional bodies or immigration services.

  • Psych-Recruitment Ltd may cancel the candidates registration at any time without prior notice.

5. The obligations of Psych-Recruitment Ltd

Psych-Recruitment Ltd  agrees:

  • to use it's best endeavours to provide recruitment services to the candidate.

  • to protect the candidates privacy. That is:

    • the information supplied by the jobseeker/candidate will be used only for recruitment purposes and it will not be disclosed without prior permission.

    • Psych-Recruitment Ltd commits to protecting candidates information and it will be safe guarded and protected against unauthorized access.

    • introductions to employers are confidential. Employers terms and conditions explicitly stipulate that information concerning the identity of the candidate, including his or her name, address, and Curriculum Vitae details belongs to Psych-Recruitment Ltd.  The employer may only use this information for the purposes of short listing, interviewing the applicant and deciding whether to engage his or her services and for no other purpose whatsoever.

6. Variation

  • a Director of Psych-Recruitment Ltd must agree in writing on any variation of these terms and conditions.

7. Limitations and Indemnity

  • all information provided by Psych-Recruitment Ltd is done so in good faith, however the candidate is advised that no liability is taken by Psych-Recruitment Ltd for any loss or damage, howsoever caused, arising from or consequent upon information forwarded by Psych-Recruitment Ltd. The candidate should personally verify any information supplied by Psych-Recruitment Ltd before making important decisions.

  • Psych-Recruitment Ltd shall be under no liability for any loss or damage howsoever caused arising from or consequent upon the candidate being introduced to an employer. The acceptance of any employment offer is at the candidates total discretion.

8. Governing Law &  Jurisdiction 

  • this agreement is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the parties irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of its courts.
