Recruitment Methods

 In order to assess applicants credentials we can obtain and corroborate information from multiple sources. Many employers simple do not have sufficient time or resources to carry out such screening. The following is an example of some of the recruitment methods we will use. 

  • Educational and professional qualifications are fully appraised. On request employers can be briefed on a candidates institute of training, qualifications structure and level of experience .

  • A psychologists past licensure, registration or charter can be researched, verified and statements of good standing obtained and screened for any history of practise concern.

  • Candidates can be reviewed around areas of clinical competency and experience. Work samples can be  requested, appraised and reported on.

  • Candidates provide confidentiality releases for referee's who are qualified to comment on the candidates  work. 

  • Employers follow-up with referees prior to formally offering employment in order to personally validate information and to check out any areas of concern.

  • A comprehensive application is typically provided which incorporates the curriculum vitae and other relevant documentation.

With this level of information gathering employers are able to make an informed selection. For overseas candidates employers can have increased confidence with their employment decisions.
