Psych-Recruitment Ltd is a New Zealand
registered company established in 2002 by
Doug McCall. While working in the justice
sector, Doug became aware of the importance of finding the right
people with the right skills and the difficulty of doing this. On
migrating to Europe he
developed the idea of recruiting psychologists specifically based on his own experiences as a
psychologist and a manager.
The
main focus is international recruitment
through the sourcing of overseas
trained professionals for areas of local skill shortages and
supporting them through the recruitment and migration process.
The Company is a specialist recruiter for New Zealand organisations and
a small but growing number of employers in other Oceania countries, such
as Australia and Singapore. It has been successful in establishing itself as the preferred
recruiter for psychologists in New Zealand.

service by using knowledge and experience from within
the profession to ensure that the best possible match between employer
and employee is achieved.

Clinical Psychologist
Doug has well over a decade of clinical and management experience and
over six years international recruitment experience. He has worked in
mental health, child protection, private practice and the justice
sector.
Before establishing Psych-Recruitment Ltd, Doug was employed as
Principal Psychologist for the Department of Corrections in Auckland
managing a team of psychologists.
Doug, a New Zealander, has an in-depth knowledge of the psychologist
employment market and he is well established in the psychological
community. He is physically located in Europe and visits Oceania
regularly to meet employers and update on service
development needs.
