Key Focus:

Social work referrals of children and young persons as per the Children, Young Persons and their Families Act. 

Key Role:

To provide assessment, management, counselling and therapy of children, young persons and their families.

Place of Work:

Well resourced, modern child centred specialist unit in  South Auckland or Central Auckland (Grafton). You will work alongside psychologists, forensic specialist interviewers, police, child therapists and other care and protection and mental health professionals.

Required skills & experience:

•  Proven practical experience in a wide range of applied psychology, including assessment, intervention, consultation, training and evaluation with children, young persons and their families.

•  A demonstrated capacity to work diligently and professionally, with respect for organisational requirements and deadlines

Qualification:

Recognised qualification in psychotherapy or family therapy.

Career Path:

Salary progression from new graduate through to senior levels.
