What we do

Our focus is jobs in New Zealand, Australia and other Oceania countries. Our clients are leading employers from industries of justice, health, education and social services. They include public and private health care providers, corrections departments, special education services, community organisations and private practices. Our services include skill sourcing, credential checking and supporting ex-pats into new locations. Check 'About Us' for details of who we are.

Seeking employment?

You don’t need to be actively job searching to benefit from our services. Many psychologists register prior to changing jobs and let us coordinate their next career move. Sometimes this takes weeks, or months or even years. But it is never too early to start the process. We welcome enquiries from both overseas and local psychologists and offer particular skills in assisting with international relocation.

Start by registering for a Psych-Recruitment User Account. Then apply against our job profiles to show us your areas of interest. Use the Psychologists’ Career Centre to change your details, build your skill profile or directly message us about your career needs. Once registered, you will gain access to a recruitment consultant who is also a psychologist. You will receive career counselling, an evaluation of your short listing prospects, an estimation of your earning potential, valuable information about local practice and suggestions on how best to prepare job applications and for interviews. In fact, we guide and support through all aspects of the recruitment process. As our clients fund us there is no fee for job seekers. Check out our ‘Job Seekers’ and ‘Working Overseas’ sections for more details.

Applying for our jobs

Use 'Quick Search' to find positions of interest. We feature two types of job profiles. Those that are immediately available are best suited to psychologists available within the next 1-4 months. Our ‘Hot Jobs’ section displays the best of these vacancies. Other profiles represent jobs that our clients regularly have available. Apply if these are of interest and you would like to be advised when they are available. When there are no job profiles of interest still register as new positions are regularly added.

Need to hire?

We have a decade’s practice of search and selection experience solely for jobs in psychology. Our existing clients value our in-depth knowledge of the profession, membership of psychologist bodies, knack for matching skills and experience to their positions, robust quality assurance processes, knowledge in international skill shortage recruitment and access to our database full of quality psychologists. If you are interested in becoming a client then check out our ‘Employers’ section.
